Layoffs, recession, and inflation are on the upswing. Soon as you get out of early game it really starts too deviate from NGU and come into its own.Like a spare tire, the best side hustles offer security when the road ahead gets bumpy. My favourite part is how the different mechanics and systems interact with each other, some are quite linear in their progression while others are more exponential, also the adventure system is miles miles better in WAMI for me, no inventory but instead every duplicate you get of a piece of equipment automatically levels it up until cap.

It personally just suits what I prefer my playstyle on a game, it's a proper idle game which you don't need too babysit but instead micromanage here and there, and depending on the type of person you are you could play it more actively or just check in once a day. I used too be an avid NGU player got too the start of sadistic but haven't touched it since I started playing WAMI. I just picked up WAMI recently on mobile and absolutely love it and it's became by far my number 1 idle game. In WAMI your rebirth multiplier applies to more than just your Atk/Def, which also feels more satisfying. This lets you resume your previous progress after challenges without having to work your way back to your previous multiplier, which I think is awesome. In WAMI you eventually get the ability to keep your higher rebirth multiplier when your new one is lower.

It feels like a cheap way of getting more "content" but doesn't feel very rewarding to me to advance to the next difficulty. I'm also not a fan of the Normal/Evil/SADISTIC difficulty levels in NGU.I am playing the game still so obviously I put up with it, but the whole "developer hates the player" thing isn't my cup of tea. Gear in WAMI always "auto merges" (from an NGU perspective) I like NOT having to micromanage an inventory.Obviously both games are balanced around their respective mechanics, but it feels better to me to not be completely abandoning gear after upgrading from it I like that you get a fraction of the bonuses from non-equipped gear. Some random things that come to mind about why I enjoy WAMI more: In general it seems like the WAMI dev is more supportive of letting players automate repetitive tasks, which is something I really enjoy in incrementals. I can't really see how someone could enjoy one and not at least be interested in the other. I play both NGU and WAMI, and personally I enjoy WAMI so much more.
